A Bantuity product

Your research. Your Stata.
An AI that works with both.

Describe the analysis you need in plain language. Stata Copilot writes clear do-files, runs them on your licensed Stata on your computer, and explains the results — so you stay in control of every step.

Your data never leaves your machine for analysis. Stata runs only on your PC — never in the cloud.

Built for people who live in Stata

For researchers, analysts, and students who want help writing and running code without giving up their license, their data, or their methods.

Ask in plain language

Request regressions, survival models, tables, or data checks the way you would ask a colleague. You get readable, commented do-files you can edit before anything runs.

Runs on your Stata

A small desktop connector links the web app to the Stata you already own. Analysis executes locally under your license — the same environment you trust today.

Everything is reproducible

Prompts, do-files, logs, and interpretations stay in your project so you can audit, share methods, and pick up where you left off.

How it works

  1. Describe — tell Stata Copilot what you want to analyze in the browser.
  2. Review — check the generated do-file and explanation before you run it.
  3. Connect — keep the desktop connector open so jobs can reach your local Stata.
  4. Run — execute on your machine; results and interpretation return to your workspace.

Getting started

Four simple steps. You need a valid Stata license (Stata 17 or later) on your Windows computer.

1. Create your account

Sign up and open your workspace. Start a project for each study or paper so work stays organized.

2. Install the connector

In your workspace, download the connector setup file. Run the installer from the connector package and follow the on-screen steps.

3. Open the connector

Launch Bantuity Stata Connector from your desktop and leave it running while you work. It links securely to your account.

4. Analyze

In Chat, describe what you need, then choose Generate & run. Review the do-file, log, and interpretation in one place.

Why researchers choose local execution

Data stays with you

Sensitive survey, clinical, or administrative data does not need to be uploaded for Stata to run your analysis.

Your license, your stack

Use the Stata edition and packages you already have. No second cloud license and no mystery execution environment.

You stay in the loop

Every do-file is visible before and after it runs. You can edit, re-run, and keep a full trail for coauthors and review.
